Is the "lasnaad uit de fles" a 2-component adhesive?
The “lasnaad uit de fles” is not a 2-component adhesive because the industrial adhesive can also be used without the granulate
Does the "lasnaad uit de fles" replace a real weld?
The chemical weld that appears when the glue is dropped onto the granulate ensures a very strong and stable connection. This is much stronger than normal glue connections. However, this very strong connection does not replace a real weld.
Do you always have to use the granulate when gluing?
For bondings that must remain flexible or for gluing large surfaces, only the adhesive (without the granulate) is used, such as shoe soles, tarpaulins, jewelry, porcelain cups, etc. The granulate is used where the adhesive power of the industrial adhesive only is not sufficient. For instance, plastic parts, metal, wood, etc. The weld seam serves to reinforce the breaking point.
How long is the curing time of the "weld seam"?
The “weld seam” is cured in just a few minutes and can then be mechanically edited, grounded, drilled and lacquered (completely cured after 24 hours).
Which materials are not suitable?
Materials that absorb the glue and incorporate oil, waxes and fats.
Textiles, brick work, felt, cardboard, silicone, polystyrene, teflon.
PE and PP plastics only in combination with the HG primer.
Can I test materials whether they are suitable for gluing?
YES, with the following test you can test plastics and other materials for their suitability
Step 1: Sprinkle a little bit of granulate (about 1 mm high) on the surface of the material that you want to glue.
Step 2: Drop one drop of the HG industrial adhesive onto the granulate and wait 1 minute!
Step 3: If the “weld seam” cannot be removed with your finger or only with a great deal of force, a long-term bonding will not stand in the way!
If you can release the “weld seam” without much finger pressure, it is most likely a material that cannot be bonded for a long time without pre-treatment. The HG-Primer and the extra roughening (with sandpaper) can help you to even bond these materials!
Is the "weld seam" weatherproof and suitable for the dishwasher?
The “weld seam” is resistant to most chemicals and resistant to heat and cold (+115°C -53°C)
Therefore suitable for the dishwasher and for use both indoors and outdoors.
What to do when I get glue on the skin?
With vaseline, skin cream, oil or nail polish remover most glue residues can be removed from the skin. (with rotary movements and cooking oil you will get glued fingers apart). You can remove the last glue residues with your fingernails. Tip: Coat your hands with cream before use. WARNING: Glue and granules together on the skin can cause burns!
Can the glued area be released again?
– Adhesive connections can only be released with the help of HG-Cleaner
– The cured weld can only be removed by mechanical destruction.
How should the glue be stored?

Can I also repair or seal a gasoline or diesel tank with the repair kit?
